April 25, 2018

April 25, 2018 – Jubilee Life, Pakistan’s leading life insurance provider, has once again partnered with Charter for Compassion (CfC) for their ‘Collaborative Libraries Project’. Jubilee Life’s collaboration with CfC began in 2016 and has facilitated in the establishment of libraries in various schools of Karachi.
With over 30 schools part of the Collaborative Libraries network the project aims to create a bridge between the underserved and privileged schools of the city. This association intends to spark interactions that stimulate conversations and activities focused on nurturing peace and compassion within the schools. The initiative simultaneously endeavors to revive the concept of habitual reading thereby combating the academic downfall prevailing in our communities.

Jubilee Life will support CfC in organizing annual Compassionate Book Drives, arranging visits to the libraries, participating in dramatic readings and compiling and sharing educational material. While the furniture, electrical fixtures and other room renovations will be done for the school by Jubilee Like and CfC, the books will be gifted by the altruistic students in the privileged schools part of CfC’s Compassionate School Network. These schools will then visit one another and form a partnership that creates learning opportunities for each other.

To make this partnership more meaningful, Jubilee Life’s employees will visit and interact with the students at the sponsored schools to meet the following three objectives: Engagement, Inspiration and Mentorship. The ‘Big Sister & Big Brother Program’, ‘Compassionate Talks’ and ‘Dramatic Readers Club’ will be launched to create an exciting and interactive platform of collaboration for.
