29th Jubilee Insurance Asian Snooker Championship 2013 Ends

29th Jubilee Insurance Asian Snooker Championship concluded today at Sheraton Hotel, Karachi after a thrilling final between the former World number two Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi of Afghanistan and Omar Al Kojah of Syria.

Potters from 14 nations across Asia participated in this tournament that spread over a total of 24 matches from 27th April 2013-4th May 2013. As the host, Pakistan fielded eight players including the reigning World Champion Mohammed Asif who crashed out in the pre quarter finals after putting up a spectacular start.

Speaking at the occasion, The International Billiards and Snooker Federation President Jin Leacy praised PBSA for organizing a successful event in which 14 countries featured. PBSA chairman Mr Alamgir also expressed his gratitude to Jubilee Insurance for their continued support in staging international snooker in the country.

Also, attending the ceremony were Mr Javed Ahmed CEO & Managing Director, Jubilee Life Insurance and Mr Tahir Ahmed CEO & Managing Director, Jubilee General Insurance who distributed prizes to the winner Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi and runner-up Omar Al Kojah.
